Folks have asked for it, and here it is. The Texas Bluebonnet Rally/Fest will be held April 16-17-18th, 2004, at the following location: http://www.guadaluperiverrvresort.com/ This is a first class RV Resort, and thanks to my co-host, Norman Biggs we have been given excellent rates. It will cost us $20.00+tax per night, with full hook-ups, and cable TV at each site. We must have 15 or more Casitas registered for this rate. If you want to come early, prior to the 16th, or stay a couple of days after the 18th, the same $20. rate will apply. If we do not have 15+ Casitas, the rates posted on the web site will apply. I don't think we could find any better place in the state. The above price includes a building(club house) to meet in which will include a kitchen, bathrooms and tables for eating. They have 2 outdoor, and 1 indoor swiming pools, shuffleboard, ect. Its right on the Guadalupe River, right in the heart of bluebonnet country. The Bluebonnets should be at their prime bloom. This early notice should give everyone enough time to make plans to attend, especially those in neighboring states. Norm and I would like this to be our "bestes & biggest" Bluebonnet Fest/Rally yet. If anyone would like to help plan for meals, pot lucks, entertainment, winery tours etc. please contact one of us through our email on this web site. If at all possible, we ask for you to register as soon as you can. This park is hosting another rally at the same time and we "shure" would like to show them what we Casitians can do. However, the park is so large, they will not interfer. If you want to make your reservations, call 1-800-582-1916 and tell them you are registering for the Casita Bluebonnet Fest/Rally. We are all going to be grouped together. There will be other notices that will tell of things to do and see in the area as days pass so keep tuned. Also, go to the web site and read about the campground. If you have questions, would like personalized information, or would like to be involved and help, feel free to call me, Bob Hunt 512-864-0549 or Norman Biggs 817-326-3525. Our email address is on this web site.
