The dates have been set for the 4th annual "Quartzsite AZ Gathering". February 11/12/13, 2011. Again George & Betty and Doug & Michelle will be the hosts for the event.
George & Betty will be there a few days early, arriving on Wednesday morning, February 9th. Last year there were already 9 or 10 trailers there when we got there
Where: Dome Rock area, Quartzsite, Arizona
Located aprox 5 miles west Of Quartzsite on I-10. We will be on the south side, next to the frontage road. You can see us from I-10.
Camping: Dry camping (no facilities)
Surface: Hard packed dirt
Market, water, dump station: All located in Quartzsite, 5 miles to the east.
Campfires: Campfires are allowed. Please bring some firewood if you can. As usual we will have a central campfire.
Soup Thing: If everyone would bring a can of soup (Not Cream style) they are poured into a couple of large soup pots and shared on Saturday afternoon.
Last year, we had a count of 56 fiberglass trailers, hope we can set a new record this year.
