What: the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival is rated #16 out of 30 "Gorgeous Travel Locations Most Pinned Places on Earth". Ennis is the "Official Bluebonnet City of Texas". The Trails include 40 miles of trails loaded with bluebonnets. Great photo opportunities. Maps are available at the Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau, 002 E. Ennis Ave, Ennis, Tx 75119, which is open 7 days/week. phone 972-878-4748
Who: owners or fans of small fiberglass trailers
Where: make reservations for Waxahachie Creek COE CG, on www.recreation.gov. This is a very popular event and very popular park. Reservations are encouraged ASAP. Half priced camping for those with the "senior interagency pass", 30 amp electric and water at each site. Dump station within the park
Activities: numerous activities in the area include the Ennis Railroad Museum, Czech Museum, Farmers Market, Galaxy Drive In, Sugar Ridge Winery. We will have a potluck Fri 4/15 and get togethers every evening. Several of us will caravan to Bandera, Tx for the "Casita Bluebonnet Festival" 4/19.
