The 2nd Annual Eggs on the Hiawassee River rally will be May 18-20 in the northeast Georgia mountains between Hiawassee and Helen at Riverbend Campground. Call the campground at 706-896-1415 to reserve a site then RSVP on the official rally page located here: http://www.fiberglas...5-18&e=6173&c=1

The rally host for this event is John & Melissa (Johnny M at fiberglassrv website). It is expected that there will be at least 70 fiberglass rv's at this event including Casita, Boler, Scamp, Bigfoot, U-Haul, Oliver, Escape, Parkline, Lil Snoozy, Trillium and more including new and vintage units dating back to at least 1971.
There will be T-Shirts offered with the official rally logo for anyone interested, contact host through links above by PM.
Official sponsors include Riverbend Campground, Vintage Trailer Supply with more expected to be added.
Thursday upon arrival pickup name tags from the host at site A8, then join the meet and greet in the common area by the river (bring a chair). Thursday night there will be a fish fry at the pavilion with fish and hush puppies sponsored & provided by the campground. Campers are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share (see the official rally page and discussion thread pages above for coordination of the dishes.)
Friday is open for local site seeing and mingling among neighbors. There may be some scheduled activities (to be determined) for anyone interested such as horseshoes or corn hole competition, an instructional seminar by a participating sponsor or musical gathering.
Saturday there is an egg open house for all participating members (get a placard from host at A8) and voting for the Campers Choice Awards. Ballots will need to be turned in on time (will be announced at the fish fry) or your vote may not count. Awards will be presented for Best of Show, Best Personality/Decor, Best Modification, and one other category to be determined.

At this time there are only a few sites left available: C2 a river site, F3, K7 all back ins, and G1-G5 pull throughs. The response for this rally has doubled since our 1st rally last year and there will be a waiting list available by the rally host (contact host by PM at the above links) on a first come first serve basis for any cancellations.
