There are lots of obscure settings you can make on iPhones, and iPads, so maybe one is toggled on and causes a problem. Link to comment
vermilye September 9, 2024 Author Share September 9, 2024 I don't know if it is a Google thing or the link, but I can't open it using Safari on my iPhone either, even using my Google account. Same error message as I posted in an earlier post. Link to comment
vermilye September 9, 2024 Author Share September 9, 2024 I checked the link and it is different from the one I used at some other sites. Try this one which works on my iPhone with Safari: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1mfKOnoAhLx4N0IHG-ke0MI88wvJkeVY&usp=sharing The 2024 map has the same problem - try this link on an iPhone: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=18uS7qqwUJc1Al-0sHj8TBZTA4G50kBA&hl=en&usp=sharing If it works for others, I'll try to change the link in the Upcoming Rallies page. I still can’t open the link from my iPhone using Safari. I can open it on my IMac using Safari. Weird. Link to comment
vermilye September 9, 2024 Author Share September 9, 2024 "I don't know if it is a Google thing or the link, but I can't open it using Safari on my iPhone either, even using my Google account. Same error message as I posted in an earlier post." At this point I give up. If I mail either of these 2024 or 2025 new links to my iPhone and click on them in Chrome using mail they work. If I try to use them from the Casita post #18 they don't. I wonder if Google expects the Casita Forum to "buy" services from Google, but they work fine from my iMac if I'm in my Google account, but not if I'm on my SUNY Oswego account. The only way I can get them to work on my iPhone is to mail the link to me & click on it in Gmail. If I mail them to my Gmail account and try to open them in apple mail, they don't work. Even pasting the link into Safari does not work. Again, the only way I can get them to work on my iPhone is mail the link & open it in Google Chrome mail. No idea what is going on... Link to comment
lmgray September 9, 2024 Share September 9, 2024 It opens for me, but I get the following message -- perhaps it's the case all of us who see it are members of associated Facebook group and doesn't work those who are not? Link to comment

That message is part of the page description and I don’t think it has any effect on the page opening. I have much the same effect on my iPad. The same problems are at Fiberglass RV and the Escape forum. Link to comment
Mike Morin February 16 Share February 16 Greetings folks. my wife and I are new to the group and looking forward to connecting to other fiberglass RV owners. We signed up for the rally in NH this morning (there is only one site left). We've had our RV for a year and looking forward to travel near and far. 1 Link to comment
Wormy September 19 Share September 19 If I click the rally link Google Maps opens up, but there is no rally information. Anyone know what the problem is? Link to comment
