April Swift July 20 Share July 20 Hi Donna, The Waterloo campground is filled up except for Thursday... sooo, I will be camped 25 minutes down the road at RiverBend Campground (also a Linn County Park). May I still drive to Waterloo and attend? I'm from Waldport, Oregon and have my 2013 Cruz'n Casita. April Swift 1 Link to comment

fifi July 30 Share July 30 Fara here. I just reserved Site A51. I talked to Karrie at the reservations number and she said there are three other sites available: B26, B30, and B32. These weren't shown on the online reservations page, so you may have to call. I live in Brightwood Oregon, and have a 2017 Casita SD 17'. 1 Link to comment
fifi July 31 Share July 31 UPDATE: Fara here again. I've changed campsites and am now in site A27. Karrie at Linn Country Parks reservations is amazing! She's excited about the rally being there again and said that there are other sites in Loop B that she can release for reservations if the need arises. 1 Link to comment

See the posts from "Fifi." Maybe you want to move from River Bend to Waterloo? Link to comment
Donna D. September 8 Author Share September 8 Happy weekend NOGgers. We're just less than a month to Fall NOG! Fun times ahead. I'll be in the park on Monday (Sept. 29th) and I'm going to check with the Park Hosts to see if we can use the Day Use Shelter. However, if the weather looks like it will be dry, the Friday activities are at Evan's and Brandy's site 47A. Saturday potluck will depend on weather and if the shelter is available for our use. Don't forget your name tags. We have lots of new people. Let's make it easy on them. Remember when you were the newbie? Trying to remember people’s names is uncomfortable! THE Schedule of events such as it is... Daytime hours are completely unscheduled. Feel free to do what you wish, sleep in, hike, go to town, play cards, sit-and-visit, etc., etc. As far as trailer tours, nothing scheduled for that either. If you see folks sitting outside, stop and chat and ask to see their trailer. I've found most folk’s have an informal open house. FRIDAY NIGHT: NO HOST DINNER ON A STICK! Roasting fire going at Evan's and Brandy's site 47A on Friday night. Or the Day Use Shelter if it rains and we have free use of the shelter. This is not a potluck, bring everything you need. Fire will be roaring, come by any time after 5:00pm. If you have a stick or two of firewood to share at the fire, that would be grand. And the biggy: CRAFT BEER EXCHANGE/NON-ALCOHOLIC CIDER OR CRAFT ROOT BEER OR ??? 6PM SHARP FRIDAY NIGHT This is an "opener" event. Bring a six pack of craft beverages, trade one bottle or can for a different kind. Everyone is welcome at anytime to anything. If you're not a beverage drinker that's perfectly okay. Please bring your lawn chair and join us anyway. Beverages/food is secondary to the good times we'll have around the fire. SATURDAY POTLUCK - 5pm SHARP at the Day Use Shelter which is west of where we're camping. Bring a food item to share that feeds 6-10 people, your table service and lawn chair. Garbage bags for trash will be provided. Please, no pets at any of the food events. Hope this helps with some questions. Post if not, we'll get the question answered. 1 Link to comment

There's still a number of sites available. I'm sorry you won't be able to make it! It's interesting, I never put you on the participants list..... Hope to catch up with you at a future gathering. Waterloo County Park, in Linn County, is on a nine-month reservation window. I've already made my reservation, I'm in the park for a week. Come early, stay late! This is a nice county park and the Linn County Parks people like us! They call us the 'egg people.' What's not to like? We're quiet, clean and stewards of park. The last NOG we had there was in 2021. We're going to start reservations in A loop. I'm in site A53. IF the loop fills, I'll contact the parks people and ask them to open B loop. It typically closes on Sept 30, but they've often opened sites just for us (although the restrooms would be winterized and closed). Told you they like us! Hookup site (water/electric): $35/night. $30/night for Seniors & Disabled Veterans - Dump station available. Reservations: https://linnparks.com/parks/waterloo/ or call (541) 967-3917 during regular business hours. As usual I'll keep a park map updated and a list of names going for those that have made reservations and posted here. I NEED this info for the participants list, please: First names of adults attending City, State where you live Year/Make/Model/Length of your trailer SITE number that you reserved. Be sure to let us know if you're newbies to egg gatherings. Ready. Set. GO! Texrex Saturday at 11:18 PM Share Saturday at 11:18 PM I was wondering if anyone that will be attending this meetup who has a tongue weight scale would mind bringing it. I recently did a CAT scale weigh and got 240 lbs. My previous one was 640 lbs and I removed about 100 lbs so I am dubious. Thanks, Rex Link to comment
