Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations with the Corps of Engineers. We use Recreation.gov

Reservations will open in March on the same day of the month as the first day you reserve in September. (If you are reserving September 24th, you can reserve your campsite on March 24th).

FYI: There will be a HOME KU football game on Saturday, September 27th. We have been told that some people like to camp rather then stay at a hotel, so reserve as soon as you can to ensure a spot.

It would be helpful to know how many will be attending. After you reserve your spot, please post or contact by email (bwiser4u@hotmail.com or Skipperclyde@hotmail.com) when you will be arriving.

As we get closer to the date, further details will be posted.

Wow! it's a huge campground.  102 sites just in cedar ridge.  Any particular area?

I was also wondering about which area of the campground also, it looks like it's in range of a quick trip from Louisiana.

I attended last September and they said they'd again be in Bloomington East / Campsites 6-39.

Not my rally anymore, but Bloomington East is not so big that any site is out of walking distance. Might want to cluster around the center.

Hi to Brian and Christy.  Just discovered that you guys are hosts.  My preferred spot that we had last year was taken, so Sonny and Joan will be in site # 17.  I reserved 4 nights, not sure if we'll be there all four. 

I noticed quite a few sites are already reserved for this time frame.

Just a few updates: 

On September 24 - Arrival Day, dinner (Walking Taco's)  and campfire will be provided by the Wises' @ site #3.  Not sure on specific time yet.  Please comment if you are coming so we will know how much food to make. 

Coffee will be provided by the Schloss' @ site #4 every morning.   Bring your own cup.

Bring your books/DVD/camping items to swap/sell.  

There will be a dry erase board available listing activities.  Feel free to add any activity YOU would like to put on as well.

I just noticed that site #9 is open on recreation.gov for those dates.  Looks like it would have some decent shade.  And right across from morning coffee!

I am Tammy, a newbie to the Casita group. I will be attending this rally and booked site #9. Just purchased my 2016 Spirit about 2 months ago. So I have lots of questions, I.E. making and hanging curtains, using the sway bars that came with it, etc. So excited.

Site #17 just became available on recreation.gov, if anybody wants it.  It should be a pretty good one, pretty close to the action (I think), and some shade trees.  I had it reserved but changed today to site #5, which had been reserved by someone else, but was released today, so Sonny and Joan will be in #5.
