Larry and Debbie Gamble May 26, 2025 Author Share May 26, 2025 Now that the Bluebonnet dates are set for the week after the Dogwood, it's a golden opportunity to do a "Texas Two-fer". See some East Texas Piney Wood then travel to the Texas Hill Country! What a deal! Larry Link to comment
JacquieRogers July 7, 2025 Share July 7, 2025 I'm sure hoping we can be there. The music rally is always so much fun--not sure we could stay for the second one but that would be fun, too. We do have to get back and plant the garden. Jacquie and Mark Rogers Link to comment
Larry and Debbie Gamble July 7, 2025 Author Share July 7, 2025 We'll look forward to seeing you! The week after the Dogwood rally, the Bluebonnet will be in Kerrville just 290 miles away. Try to make the Pine Knott rally in October as it's in Grapeland at Salmon Lake as well. Larry Link to comment

PRTexas October 7, 2025 Share October 7, 2025 I'm not Larry or Debbie but to answer your questions: Who: anyone who enjoys playing music or just listening to others play music. What: Generally bluegrass, country, toe tapping fun music. Very laid back, no stress time. When: April 14-18, 2026 but you some folks come in Sunday or Monday for a couple more days of relaxing. Where: Salmon Lake RV Park, Grapeland, TX Registration usually opens sometime early in 2026. Note the park has over 400 RV spots so everyone who wants to come, can find a spot. Hope this helps. Larry and Debbie Gamble October 9, 2025 Author Share October 9, 2025 The theme this year (our 5th year!) will be "The Beach" so bring your flip flops and beach towels and have some fun. There will be lots to do besides the music and we'll be making more announcements at the Pine Knot rally next week. Larry and the rest of the crew Link to comment

Larry and Debbie Gamble January 10 Author Share January 10 OK, it's time to start planning your trip! While the rally officially starts on Wednesday the 15th, there will be a meet and greet at 6pm on Tuesday the 14th. As we've mentioned before, this year's theme is "Beach Bash" so flip flops, Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses are all welcome! Please no thongs!! Be prepared to hear some Beach Boy song on Saturday night and maybe even some Jan and Dean with some Jimmy Buffet thrown in for good measure. There will be raffles, door prizes, tech classes and many other events as well. See you there! The gang 1 Link to comment
Larry and Debbie Gamble February 17 Author Share February 17 We currently have 43 trailers signed up and counting. We hope all do show up but we understand things happen and you might have to cancel. That's OK but if you do have to cancel, post here or contact one of the hosts. It really helps us manage our plans and budget! Thanks, Larry and the gang. Link to comment
Richard Z H March 8 Share March 8 We were really looking forward to coming to our first rally but are having to bow out to make some family medical trips. Hopefully we will be able to come another time. Thanks for organizing it. Richard & Gingy Link to comment
Becky and Baxter March 8 Share March 8 This may be a stupid question, but would this be something that could be child friendly? Like for a 5 almost 6 h year old? My grandson is out of school that Friday so I’ll have him Thursday afternoon through Friday. I would love to go down Thursday evening and stay through Saturday but I’d have to take him with me. I realize not all events aren’t meant for kids, so I wouldn’t want to take him if it’s inappropriate. Link to comment

I think he'd love the park as it has many areas that are designed for young people to explore. Certainly for the daytime you'll both enjoy it, and then there is the Crocket Nat Forest nearby... As for the adult gathering I'll let the organizers speak to that. Link to comment
