Hello out there. There was some talk at Hillapaloosa about having a rally on the Guadalupe River. Well, gather the toobs, rafts, and noodles and join us for the Guadalupe River Rats Rally this May, 19 thru the 22nd, at Lazy L and L Campground, 11699 River Road between the third and fourth crossing. We plan to beat the Memorial Day rush!!! and the winter Texans have usually left by this time.
We have forty spots reserved and if we fill those, come anyway; there is plenty of room. We also have full use of the meeting hall. This is very informal, no special events planned because there is so much in the area to do, or just lay back and enjoy. We would like to have a pot luck on Sat. evening but that is all the "planning" we plan to do!! This is also the Gruene Market Days weekend. Vendors are local artisans and craftsmen; not the usual garage sale stuff. Gruene is just a few miles away from the campground. If you would like to join us, just email me or give me a thumbs up on this site. The rate is $25.60/night which might come down a tad (that's southern for "A little") if we get enough rigs. There are no assigned spots, just pick what you want when you get here. I would like to have a basic count by May 1, 2011, so I can let the management know about how many to expect.
