April 23-26, 2026 Silver Falls State Park (East of Salem, Oregon)

Revised 10/22/25

Ring, ring, ring. This is your six month alarm to remind you it's getting close to the time to make your reservation! Remember, you can make your reservation SIX MONTHS to the day you want to arrive in the park.

This is the smallest venue where we hold NOGs. There are a TOTAL of 47 sites with electric and water at Silver Falls State Park.  There are three serviced ADA sites in B loop and there are three unserviced ADA sites in A loop. There are four yurts in B loop that are pet friendly. One of those are ADA compliant. There are 10 electric and water sites in A loop at the far north end. (see attached map). If you want to attend Spring NOG, do not delay getting your reservation. Because this venue is limited in size, I respectfully request you contact ME and let me know IF YOU CANCEL. I know I'll have a wait list. Lets get your site to a NOGger.

Silver Falls State Park is called the 'crown jewel' of the Oregon State parks system, and once you visit, you know why. Silver Falls State Park is the kind of standout scenic treasure that puts Oregon firmly onto the national - and international - stage.

Weather dependent! For those in the park on Tuesday (April 21st) and wanting to hike, I'm planning to hike the 7.2 mile loop which is considered a moderate hike, with an overall elevation change of 800 feet. I'll drive to the South Falls parking lot at 9am (the BIG lot just north of the campground.) If you prefer there are several connecting trails with separate access points that make shorter routes. You would need to figure out transportation. For everyone’s safety— absolutely no pets allowed on the Canyon Trail.

Out of shape? Winter is a great time to move those muscles. Remember, motion is lotion.

YEOW, the park is full! At least the serviced sites in both B and A loops. However, I have a bunch of places on my map that don't show NOGgers. So, IF you've reserved please let me know. I'd really like to keep the participants list current. AND, once again.... I respectfully request you contact ME and let me know IF YOU CANCEL. Lets get your site to a NOGger. I already have two people on the wait list. THANKS.
