Ranger Jay March 3 Share March 3 I'm hoping for a site for the Spring 2026 NOG. Please let me know if you cancel. Thanks - Ranger Jay Link to comment
Donna D. April 4 Author Share April 4 We're getting close to Spring NOG, time to put out the Schedule! THE Schedule of Events: Daytime hours are completely unscheduled. Feel free to do what you wish. Sleep in, hike the trails, go to town, visit the Smith Creek Village/South Falls Cafe, sit-and-visit, visit the Frank Lloyd House at the Oregon Gardens, photograph the falls! etc., etc. As far as trailer tours, nothing scheduled for that either. If you see folks sitting outside, stop and chat and ask to see their trailer. I've found most folks have an informal open house. DON'T FORGET TO BRING/WEAR A NAME TAG: I'd really like to see everyone wear a name tag all weekend. I'm meeting some of you for the first time. Help me to remember your name, please. FRIDAY NIGHT NO-HOST DINNER-ON-A-STICK (Weather Dependent! I hate to say it, but this is in the open air and if it's raining it will be cancelled): If everyone could bring ONE stick of wood, we'll have plenty of fire. The NOG tub will be going at my site B5. You will want to bring a chair. This is not a potluck, bring everything you need, including your roasting stick. Come by anytime after 6:00pm. The fun/funny stuff: BEVERAGE EXCHANGE Craft Beer/Cider with or without alcohol/Craft Root Beer... or ??? 7PM SHARP FRIDAY NIGHT This is an "opener" event. Bring a six pack of craft beverages, trade one bottle or can for a different kind. Everyone is welcome at anytime to anything. If you're not a beverage drinker that's perfectly okay. Please bring your lawn chair and join us anyway. Beverages/food is secondary to the good times we'll have around the fire. SATURDAY NIGHT POTLUCK, at the Junior Ranger Shelter (behind my site): Serving of food will start SHARPLY at 6pm. Come a few minutes early to get your food on the table before serving starts. Bring an appetizer, entrée, salad or dessert to share that feeds 6-10 people AND your table service. You'll want to bring a chair. Please, no pets at any of the food events. NOTICE: A $10 per-use fee for dump station access begins March 30, 2026. This fee helps cover the cost of pumping, maintenance, utilities, and required environmental protection. Pay by scanning the QR code at the dump station. I hope this answers questions you may have. If not, ask and we'll get it answered! Safe travels everyone. Please bring SUN! Link to comment
