Brandy B October 24, 2025 October 24, 2025 UPDATE 09/19/2026: Northern Oregon Gathering (NOG), October 1-4, 2026 at South Beach State Park GENERAL INFORMATION Daytime hours are completely unscheduled. Feel free to do what you wish. Sleep in, ride your bike on the trails, hike, go to town, play cards, sit-and-visit, etc.. As far as trailer tours, nothing scheduled for that either. If you see folks sitting outside, stop and chat and ask to see their trailer. Most people have an informal open house. Please: -Wear a name tag to all events. -Bring your own chair and dining utensils to all events. -Do not bring pets to any of the food events FRIDAY Starting at 5:00 pm - DINNER ON A STICK at the Group Meeting Hall near the campground entrance. Fire will be available for roasting. Bring your dinner on a stick along with any utensils, toppings, and sides as well as a chair. Bring everything you need for your meal as this is an opportunity to socialize, not a potluck. FRIDAY Starting at 6:00 SHARP - BEVERAGE EXCHANGE at the Group Meeting Hall near the campground entrance. This is your opportunity to try new beverages. Originally this event was a CRAFT beer exchange which has evolved to a beverage exchange to accommodate people who do not drink beer. Bring 6 delicious, unique, interesting, or craft beverages for exchange with fellow NOG participants. This can be packaged beer, wine, soda, NA beer, mocktail mixes, hot chocolate, coffee, whatever. Bring something that others will want to try. This beverage exchange happens quickly. Each person has to agree to exchange their beverage for another person’s beverage. SATURDAY starting at 4:45 - POTLUCK, VOTE FOR NEXT FALL LOCATION, & DONATION - at the Group Meeting Hall near the campground entrance. POTLUCK: Bring a dish to serve 6-10 people, serving utensil(s) and your plate/eating utensils. Have your dish on the table before 5:00 when serving starts. Keep in mind that most attendees don’t bring bowls. So if your dish requires a bowl to eat it (like a soup), please also bring bowls. VOTE: After the potluck we will vote where we would like the 2027 Fall NOG to be held. Fort Stevens, LL Stub Stewart, Nehalem, Silver Falls, South Beach, and Waterloo have been great venues for NOG in the past. Champoeg is not available for the Fall NOG as the Rolling Oldies typically fill the park. DONATION: We will pass the hat for donations after eating. Donations are 100% voluntary. Funds are used to reserve meeting halls or shelters for our events and to purchase firewood when needed.
